Underlying Principle:

No private company should be in control of essential national infrastructure and services, in part because of the potential security risk of foreign and/or private ownership, but also because of the risk of under-investment in the related networks and structures, excessive charges and profit transferring wealth from the public to private hands, and potential financial mismanagement leading to government support or bailouts of private companies.

Nationalise essential infrastructure: public transport (trains, tube, local buses), utilities (water, electric, internet and gas) and airports.
